So, explorers, let's dive into today's episode.
[00:00:53] Speaker B: Hey, explorers, it's Tara. Karen and I are so glad that you're here with us today to make a little bit more room in your life.
So, explorer, have you ever had a moment when you realize that the thing that you've worked so hard to build might not actually be the thing that you're supposed to be building or even the whole picture, because something inside of you has started wanting and desiring more?
Maybe it's a career you've worked hard to establish, a creative idea you keep coming back to, or a version of your life that made perfect sense when you first imagined it. I mean, you probably got really good at making that vision work. You learned the systems. You figured out the expectations. You did everything that you were supposed to do. But what happens when the question becomes, is this still what I really want?
[00:01:53] Speaker C: It's so interesting how you and I are visionaries, creators, dreamers, and doers.
And it's so interesting to me how often our humanness. I'm speaking on behalf of all of humanity, how we have this impulse to contribute and create and grow, which is beautiful. And then we set it to a canvas, a paint by number that has a very specific image imprinted on it and very specific colors that we need to put where. Right? And then all of a sudden, we're like, oh, wait a minute. This particular thing is like, one tenth of the canvas. Like, or those. That color palette wasn't even the one I was supposed to be using. Like, it's just so amazing how sometimes we get caught up in the vision and we're so excited about it that we forget that we're caught up in the vision? The exact vision. Right. And we forget to open space.
[00:02:52] Speaker B: Before we get too deep into this episode, I want to be really clear that we're not talking about wanting more just for the sake of wanting more. Like, more in terms of more achievement, more responsibility, more things to manage. We're talking about making room for possibility, making room for joy, making room for the things we sometimes dismiss before we've even given them A chance to be.
[00:03:18] Speaker C: There's so much that wants to germinate, right? There's so much, much there. And sometimes we're just like, well, I'm just going to water this. Like, we can't see sometimes the big picture, right? It's about letting it unfold and responding accordingly. Like in the moment, right? And just allowing. Oh, I have to. I'm going left here. Oh, oh, wait, I'm doubling back now. And I'm like, there's a really beautiful and inherent trust that must be present, I think, right in yourself and in divine intelligence in the process. And all of it that must be present so that you can open and evolve and make room.
[00:03:54] Speaker B: Have the vision and make the plan, but be open to all of the possibilities. And just imagine when you think, Karen, about what we allow ourselves to want, how often do you experience the editing before it's even got a chance to be?
Maybe it's two questions the same for yourself. And also,
[00:04:20] Speaker C: I think that we are conditioned.
I really believe that we are conditioned to limit ourselves, to think that it's not possible to think that, like, oh, you know, how could I want all of these things? Or you know, right, you're selfish, you're money centered. You only want accolades and validation. Like, we just put ourselves in a box, right, by doing that. And then I'll switch it to I. I find myself as I'm dreaming bigger and bigger, having that knee jerk reaction of like, am I allowed to do this? Is this allowed? Like, this is big, big picture stuff. And yeah, I think the possibilities are endless. And I think we do censor and limit ourselves as human beings. And I think it's been conditioned and I think we need to stop that right now.
[00:05:10] Speaker B: Right now.
[00:05:12] Speaker C: Yeah, just stop that.
[00:05:14] Speaker B: Editing happens because we get so caught up in the boxes of like, is this realistic or is this what a responsible person would do? Like it's irresponsible to dream in this way or it's inappropriate to dream in this way. Because we've been conditioned that once you sit, that's it. And the narratives of it's too late or I'm. Whatever that limitation is causes us to edit before it even gets a chance to see the light of day. And we do ourselves in the world a disservice when we continue to live in that way.
[00:05:48] Speaker C: Absolutely. It requires focus, it requires deliberate intention, it requires diligently staying open. Right? Because I think our default is just to be like, oh, that's too much to ask or, or that's too big or whatever. But I.
I really think we've talked about this before.
The universe is literally ever expanding.
Like, go talk to some people who study those things.
[00:06:16] Speaker B: Go find one of them.
[00:06:18] Speaker C: Go talk to Neil DeGrasse Tyson, the guy. Thank you, Neil DeGrasse Tyson. Like, it's ever expanding and our potential and our dreams and our desires are ever expanding. We can create anything we want.
And so I think in the day to day of human beingness and living, we forget that we really are the creators.
And it requires, as we've said with Jeanne, it requires commitment and devotion to really your heart and what you really want to be doing here in the eve time.
[00:06:54] Speaker B: And you hinted it, we've hinted at it a little bit about how this even has shown up for us most recently in the your odyssey journey, about how we were in this weird limbo space of like, yes, this is the thing that we have committed ourselves to and we are content and we genuinely love the thing that we are creating. And on the other hand is like, is the thing that we create and the thing that we have been called to create because we could keep doing it this way and we would be really, really good at doing it this way. But it seems like there's something. Like there is a disconnect somewhere in between the original vision and what we are executing on. And again, we are dreamers and doers, so we are really good at the doing. It's like, well, hold on.
It's time to revisit where we are in the state of the Dream Union to see if this is. To see if this. If we still on track for that. Because we had gotten so caught up in creating a business in the traditional sense of what it would look like for a coaching, structured business, which diminished the magnitude of the movement that we were actually called to create.
[00:08:12] Speaker C: Yes, ma', am. That is just so well, eloquently stated. We were in that paint by numbers canvas that is purely an 8x10 when there's an entire wall mural.
And most of it has nothing to do with that little canvas.
And to our credit, right, we've built something. We've created something beautiful. And honestly, this podcast to me is one of the most powerful pieces of it because we get to share our hearts in conversation with each other, to recognize and see each other and see the vision and help our listeners to do that in their own lives. That's my hope anyway, right? And here we were going along, pulling down the watercolors, doing the grinding.
[00:08:56] Speaker B: Here we go.
[00:08:57] Speaker C: It's going on. And. And every fall Right. Every autumn September.
[00:09:02] Speaker B: And we were like, that's not it, mind you. We like, it sounds like we've been doing this for 10 years. We have it every September for the past, like, two, three Septembers, we've been like, this has been fun. This is cool. And also, is it cool enough? Like, is. Is. Is it. Is it is.
[00:09:21] Speaker C: Like, are we on track? Are we on point with the. Because, like, we have big dreams of being out in the world, uplifting and in whatever way that we enjoy and want to be doing it. And it's not necessarily the way we thought it was. And honestly, if I think back, it was part of the original.
Yeah, it was part of the original vision. And then we just kind of got like, we're just like, oh, we're doing this. I think we're good. It feels like you and I were both feeling disconnected a bit from it.
I was definitely feeling like. I don't know if I even, you know, I'll just say it. I don't even know if I'm meant to or designed to or want to do one on one coaching only. Like, I feel like the impact that I'm here to make and to share is much, much bigger. And I'm not saying that to grandiose things or to make, you know, big of myself. I'm just saying that's what I'm hearing. That's what I'm feeling. Right. And then when we came together and talked about it, I was like, yeah, that's right.
[00:10:29] Speaker B: Like, as you're saying, I realized I have literally been leading groups. This is my third year doing this. I was like, so why didn't I think that groups or the one to many was a part of the framework? Like, when did I forget that? That is my question. I was like, when did I decide that, you know, it had to look this way, that it had to be this container that you have to do one to. Because that's the only way to do it. When it's like, girl, you literally the whole time you've been doing this, you've been doing groups.
[00:10:59] Speaker C: So mind blowing, isn't it? I totally get what I mean. Like, you have been leading groups. When you and I went out and did that group session up in Graham, when we did that, I was. It just felt so right. It's so easy and so flow. And I was like, oh, yeah, yeah. Like, there's still moments where you're addressing an individual. Right. But it's a group dynamic and it's a greater impact, I believe, when people
[00:11:24] Speaker B: which is our whole point.
[00:11:25] Speaker C: Community in groups and experiencing something. Right. They're being impacted by each other's experience and story as well.
[00:11:32] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:11:32] Speaker C: You know, it's not just us. Right. There's more happening and, you know, we're holding space for that, but then we're also adding what it is we're here to add and bring. Yeah, I. It's so funny. Like, why. Oh, there's. Oh, I know why. Because that's not actually what I want you to do.
[00:11:50] Speaker B: See how long. Again, we are not swearing off one on one clients. We're just saying that that's not the bulk of the experience of your odyssey. That's not. That's not it. We were acting like it was one to one. And then the podcast.
What?
[00:12:09] Speaker C: Right, right.
Which is so funny because anytime you and I get together and look at spaces to hold an event or host
[00:12:18] Speaker B: our own events, because we've done that.
[00:12:20] Speaker C: Host our own events.
[00:12:21] Speaker B: Yeah, this was great.
[00:12:22] Speaker C: Anytime.
[00:12:23] Speaker B: It's like, we do this all the time.
And they were like, anyway, so let me go get these two people.
[00:12:32] Speaker C: You know what, Tara and you know what, listeners? That's. That is beautiful knowledge. That is beautiful wisdom. Right. Because oftentimes we learn what we want by. By learning what we don't want or. Right. The contrast of. Well, this feels okay, but. Oh, this feels freaking magical. Like, this. It. Like all of a sudden you're like, oh, I'm gonna. Yeah, this. I'm. I'm starting to change the steering and I'm just gonna kind of move towards this. And then you can feel when it starts gaining momentum, even just our conversation to me was like. Right.
[00:13:07] Speaker B: You heard me? Yeah. If y' all was with us,
[00:13:12] Speaker C: I was like.
[00:13:15] Speaker B: Karen was bubbling.
Do you hear me? Like, bubbling over. It was inspiring and comical because two things true. Once I was like, oh, she back on fire. Okay, cool, cool, cool, cool.
[00:13:29] Speaker C: Yeah. And that's the thing.
[00:13:30] Speaker B: I feel like my pilot light was still on, but, baby, we were not connecting to make fire. There was no fire involved. Pilot light only.
[00:13:38] Speaker C: But that's when I know for myself, when I get that excited, that's the sign, that's the direction. Like, it is a no brainer. Literally. Take the brain out of it.
[00:13:47] Speaker B: That's what I'm talking about. Take the brain out of it. Like, there is something that happens when we just give ourselves, like, lean into the excitement, lean into the bubbliness, and we give ourselves that permission to imagine and dream and, like, future cast something before we even figure out whether it's Possible, because that's all we did. And we were like, yeah, this could be this, this and this. And it's way bigger than we thought. And then we're like, okay, now we'll go off and do, well, what can we do to get us there? Because it's not how do we make it happen? Because again, we are firm believe that how is none of my business. I ain't got nothing to do with it. It's what can I do?
[00:14:26] Speaker C: What actions can I take today?
[00:14:28] Speaker B: Service of that. Yeah.
[00:14:30] Speaker C: Are in service of that vision, that dream. Because we don't have this, that we don't. We take steps.
Like we are so small, right? Like our radar screen is so small. Everything else that's happening in the universe Divine Intelligence is making happen behind the scenes. Like the. Don't pay attention to the man behind the curtain. There's so much happening.
We need to state what it is that we love. We need to have that conversation that makes us bubble over and so excited that we almost can't keep up with it. We're speaking so excitedly about it because that is what you focus on to fuel it. And then you sort of trust and allow.
[00:15:10] Speaker B: Definitely.
[00:15:11] Speaker C: There's this great analogy that one of my mentors said, which is you're driving down the road at night and you're driving from east coast to west coast, you know.
[00:15:18] Speaker B: Right, Right.
[00:15:19] Speaker C: Your headlights go about what, 30, 40ft, right. And you're like, well, I hope that's not the end of the road. I mean, it could be. All I can see is this. But you do that and all of a sudden the next and the next, it all starts to appear, right?
[00:15:33] Speaker B: You. You have the dream, like you know where you're going. Like when you get in the car, you know where you're going and you
[00:15:40] Speaker C: keep that destination, quote, unquote, in your mind, that vision, that dream. And. And then you listen.
You listen and say, what is the next right step? What is the next right?
[00:15:50] Speaker B: And you wait.
[00:15:51] Speaker C: And you wait. Wait and you wait. You don't have to write.
[00:15:56] Speaker B: I'm a. You don't have to wait. Like, wait. I got to.
[00:15:59] Speaker C: Like, it's like, you're not going to.
[00:16:00] Speaker B: I can help. I'm not helping. This is not helpful. I just took us on the scenic route for no reason. I got this. Made the detail for no reason. We could have kept straight and got there a lot sooner had I not put my hands in it.
[00:16:12] Speaker C: Got my fingers in the pot. Right. Like, I want to make it happen. Like, I want to make it happen.
[00:16:16] Speaker B: And that is past year, especially, like, with this awareness now that we've had a few weeks ago between feeling into the difference between, like, what genuinely feels aligned versus just going after something because we think we should go after it. So, like, they're really close. Like, they feel like, oh, okay, that's right. But there is just something, a little something that's different when it's genuinely aligned. Like you said, there is that joy, there is that excitement versus, Well, I checked another thing off the to do list today. Okay. Try. Try again tomorrow. I did these things because all of the people said, this is what you have to do in order to make this thing work. And I'm like, but this thing not working the way that y' all said it would work. And I don't understand why that's.
[00:16:59] Speaker C: The thing about us two getting together was because there's a level of trust involved between the two of us to be able to each speak openly about what we think is or isn't working and what we think is or isn't the vision and. And I think that we were getting caught up. At least I'll speak for myself. I was getting caught up. In my case, the not doing of the doing.
Like I think I said, did I even compare myself to a toddler?
[00:17:24] Speaker B: I felt like I was a toddler tantrum thrower. Like, that's usually my role. And I haven't thrown a tantrum in a really long time. Like,
[00:17:35] Speaker C: yeah, I know when I was like, you know, like, when you're doing something, you're like, it's kind of it. As you were saying. Like, you're like. But it's not quite. I don't think this is a dessert recipe. I think this is the main. Like, I don't really know what we're making here. And then to be able to share that with you, to really. I had to grieve the week before, too. I was grieving. Like, this is. Wait, I thought this was. I had to process that. I had to be like, oh, what?
And then just be like, okay, okay, I like this. I like this even better. And then to have that time with you, to converse and to have you be open to it and you were experiencing your own version of that and just be like, something feels off. But see, that's the thing is we always can trust the alignment because when we come back to. How does it feel?
How does it make me feel when I think about this thing?
How does it make me feel when I think about this thing?
And I think we're getting better and better at that. And we're getting better at that individually, but also combined as a co leader
[00:18:41] Speaker B: again, we just came back to the necessity of joy being a part of our recognition. If we're we in this for the fun, we're in this for the joy of it all. In getting so caught up, it's almost like in the minutiae, in the ones and zeros of the thing, and it's get out. You can't see the forest for the trees. And like, for me, in this business, the most important thing is reminding people of their joy. It is as many people as we possibly can. And it's almost disingenuous to promote a message of joy when the thing that you're creating is not based on joy.
[00:19:22] Speaker C: Like, you literally quoted that joy first line on our website.
[00:19:27] Speaker B: The infuser was broken.
[00:19:28] Speaker C: Joy infused.
[00:19:29] Speaker B: And we were like, it might have been lost, actually. We're like. You're like, yeah, we're.
[00:19:35] Speaker C: I think that little might have been turned off, but look.
[00:19:39] Speaker B: But not infused. There was joy, like, pockets in here and there, but it was definitely not infused. Y'. All, I don't know what your thing is, what your joy infusion is, but what I do know is that joy is the information. Joy is the thing. You don't have to create an infrastructure or a process around joy.
[00:20:00] Speaker C: Joy is the blood. Joy is the.
[00:20:02] Speaker B: Joy is the. Joy is the signal.
I don't know how you make it happen in your life, but for me, in the way that I have been living intentionally, joy has been the byproduct because it is the source.
I don't have to make it up. I don't have to be like, you know, today I'm going to be joyful. No, I just am, because I've been doing the things that I'm supposed to do.
[00:20:26] Speaker C: I just want everyone listening to give themselves permission to dream, to access that feeling of joy in whatever way. You know, whatever lights them up and just follow the breadcrumbs of that. Like, you're on Route 66.
[00:20:42] Speaker B: Get your kicks.
[00:20:45] Speaker C: Get your kicks.
Yeah, yeah, exactly. Oh, gosh, it's so important. That's really why we're here. I know people are like, well, no, we just, you know, we're here.
[00:20:54] Speaker B: I believe I'm leaving if that's what we. I'm out of here.
[00:20:59] Speaker C: Check, please. Right. Like, no, thank you.
Like, every day. And I know I've had my days where I'm like, nope, ain't nothing good happening, you know, where it just Feels so disconnected from that joy and from life and to just little by little, get back to, oh, wow, look at the way those leaves are starting to turn. Or, oh, my gosh, I never heard that bird before. For me, it's like getting out in nature and just noticing the little things that bring me back that just like, they just kind of. I feel like when the decompression is happening, like in a rocket ship, right? It feels like something's getting compressed, right? Or shifting, right? Because the. The oxygen ratio.
[00:21:38] Speaker B: Because I'm just like, when have we been in rocket ships anyway? What is going on?
[00:21:42] Speaker C: But, like, there's something that happens where it just feels like. Like the vacuum thing happens, right? Where you're just like. And then. And then you just. When you're in that state of feeling like, I don't know what I'm doing, I don't know why I'm here. I don't know. You know, all those things come back to just little things that you notice that bring you joy, right? That. I think that's what my point is. Like, there are little embers. There are things that will bring you back to life. And for me, honestly, one of the things has been sitting down on my piano going, this. This is the thing. Like, this is like. I don't know how else to tell you, Karen, that this is the thing. Like, the universe is like,
[00:22:22] Speaker A: do it,
[00:22:22] Speaker C: like, do the things that bring you joy and then let it be.
[00:22:25] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:22:25] Speaker C: And then let the dream unfold.
[00:22:27] Speaker B: There.
There's something about living in the excitement and the. I'm gonna use this trepidation because it's not. It's not scary. It's just a little wariness of, like, this is very exciting. And also, oh, my gosh, are we doing this is happening? And I found in these past few weeks that it's not necessarily that our vision needs a bigger scale. Like, we need a bigger vision. But what I'm finding and what I believe is our vision needs bigger expression. It needs more freedom. It needs more connection to the meaning of joy infused. That's the thing that we have to keep coming back to. And I remember early on we were talking about, like, if it's not answering these questions, but I'm like, oh, it's time to get back to those.
Are we doing this? Oh, we gotta go back to the mission. We had to go back to what it is that we. We said when we first said yes to the same.
[00:23:19] Speaker C: Right.
[00:23:20] Speaker B: Being intentional about following through on the expression of said vision versus what somebody else said. It's supposed to look like I was like, oh, you're building a coaching business and it's got to look like this. I don't even know y'.
[00:23:32] Speaker A: All.
[00:23:32] Speaker B: Like, what do you.
[00:23:33] Speaker C: What you're like, who are you to tell me what my thing is supposed to look like? I'm pretty sure this knows.
It's so true. Do you remember when we decided that day that we were like, it was one too many? Yes.
[00:23:45] Speaker B: That's one to many.
[00:23:46] Speaker C: And how much we enjoy this.
[00:23:47] Speaker B: A year and a half in like.
[00:23:48] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:23:49] Speaker B: Why do we need clients individually?
That's exactly what happened.
[00:23:54] Speaker C: Y' all heard it like crickets. Literally, like
[00:23:59] Speaker B: one so many. Like I said, my goodness.
Again, even when I'm talking one to many, I'm still only talking to you, you listener. It's just me and you. That's it. But it's. What did I say? It's a lot of individuals.
[00:24:12] Speaker C: It's a lot of heart to heart people.
[00:24:14] Speaker B: One too many people.
[00:24:17] Speaker C: Yeah. I mean, are we still a billion
[00:24:19] Speaker B: people on the planet?
[00:24:20] Speaker C: Like, let's go. Like, yeah, it's probably more now, but I feel like we start up in the end, you know what I mean? Like, we got some work to do, some joyful work.
[00:24:32] Speaker B: My.
The planner in me is like, well, this is a little impractical. Like, what are we talking about? But leaning full into the open vessel, open heart, open hands is like, is it meaningful? Is the thing that you are doing or the thing that you're creating, is it adding meaning? Is there value here? Are you just doing it because you think you should be doing it? And type C me is like, well, practical and possible are not enemies. Like, they. They actually work together. They're just a different set stages in the conversation. Like, there is a time to imagine and dream and then there's a time to organize. That don't mean they got to happen at the same time.
You have the dream and now you just got to try to make it work. Dream the dream and then what is the next step to get you there? That's when the practical comes in. It doesn't have to happen at the same time. If one does not cancel the other out is the whole point.
[00:25:27] Speaker C: That's a very good point because, you know, I mean, I can be all up in the dreams, but I've learned, and maybe I've learned this through you, is that, I mean, if I am motivated and committed to something, get out of my way. There is no task list too big. If I know. If I know where I'M going. And if it feels like aligned. Right, like let's do it. I mean, the creative projects that I've already engaged in in my life thus far show me that I could literally create anything.
[00:25:59] Speaker B: And.
[00:25:59] Speaker C: And in the past I've done it a lot on my own. And I do think there is such power and such beauty in combining powers.
[00:26:12] Speaker B: Combining powers. I don't know why. The Wonder Twins intention. The Wonder Twins. Wonder Twins activate. And we got the Wonder Twins activate Joy infusion. That's what we're doing.
Natural's happening. So.
[00:26:26] Speaker C: Yeah, well, and we want that for you. So I guess our point is, is there something that lights you up and brings you joy? Is there something in your life that you've been thinking about or gnawing on and felt nudged towards and you're just like, well that's not practical. Well, we're asking you to bring in the possibility and balance those two things. Practicality, possibility. And go towards it.
[00:26:52] Speaker B: Yeah, go towards it out there. When you feel that spark of possibility, explore it first. Explore it. But exhaust the possibilities of your mind in the dream and in the vision before you create the five year plan and the spreadsheet and the 19,000 reasons why it won't work. Explore, exhaust, brain dump. All of the possibilities before you even get there. Because I'm pretty sure in that exploration you're going to be like, oh well this is next and this is next, so don't limit yourself.
[00:27:24] Speaker C: It's going to become clear. And if you do write that five year plan, write it in pencil.
[00:27:28] Speaker B: What did you ask me when we were talking? What do you see from. I was like, I don't know. Because what I thought from two years ago is not where we at now. So I. I don't know. We looking at the next 42 days. Like
[00:27:41] Speaker C: as long as we're making decisions from that place of joy and heart centered joy specifically. Right. Like heart, like mission, purpose, fulfillment. It doesn't matter where we go. It's like we're on the roller coaster. I don't know if the roller coaster loop de loop or if it's one of those long term ones that looks like seven ranges of mountains.
[00:28:02] Speaker B: What I do know is we were in the one upside down.
[00:28:05] Speaker C: Let's go.
[00:28:05] Speaker B: Like we had paused like they were doing maintenance on the ride.
Just sitting there looking like a bunch of bats.
All the wood as a restaurant. I don't know what's going on.
[00:28:17] Speaker C: Oh, you've got a song related to it.
[00:28:19] Speaker B: Okay, so we've been talking about making Room for what we really want, how we talk ourselves out of possibilities before we even give them a chance to be. Our invitation to you is to be curious, to experiment, to get a few things wrong and discover something about yourself while you're doing the thing. Because we don't need to accomplish yet another thing to check another achievement off our list. We just need to remember that there is joy in discovering what's possible when we stop living in ourselves. And this song is from the movie Zootopia. It is. Try Everything by Shakira.
[00:28:59] Speaker A: Check out this week's song on the YO Podcast playlist on Spotify.
[00:29:08] Speaker C: Oh, my God. That is so perfect. That was so good. I loved it because I was thinking, like, it. It almost like it doesn't matter. Just try it. If it's something that you want to do, try it. Be excited about life.
Avoid getting into those traps, those things that keep us small and limited and conditioned. Right?
[00:29:28] Speaker B: I want to try even though I could fail. And we've done the episode about fail. First attempt at learning. And it's like, just be persistent. Continue forward. Don't give up. Don't limit yourself for the love.
[00:29:41] Speaker C: Have some dang fun.
[00:29:43] Speaker B: Everything, please.
[00:29:46] Speaker C: Have a everything in the world.
[00:29:48] Speaker B: All right, I have a question. Some darn fun for this episode that says today's question. The question of the day. What's something you've wanted to try, experience, or explore but have talked yourself out of?
[00:30:02] Speaker C: Well, I don't know that I've talked myself out of it, but I haven't necessarily made it a priority. Two things come to mind. One is hang gliding, sugar gliders. I want. I want to hang glide. I want to fly like a bird.
And the other one, just putting everything in storage and moving to Europe and see what's what.
Just see what happens.
Those aren't gonna be.
[00:30:27] Speaker B: You say, put stuff in storage. I'm like, what are you even putting in storage? Could even be that. You'd be like, you know what? When I come back for those two weeks, I want this to be here.
[00:30:39] Speaker C: Ah, that's hilarious. You see me estate. You did say that in Italy.
[00:30:43] Speaker B: I was like, she ain't coming back.
I don't know if it's a Talk myself out of it. It's just like, when can I make this happen? Is to like those. I don't want to go to culinary school, but I want to, like, learn alongside, like a chef. Like to, like, cook things, because y' all know I like cooking and things like that. But I'd be like, oh, I trained with blah, blah, blah. Or I took a workshop. Like, something like that would be really cool to do.
[00:31:06] Speaker C: And would it be specifically like main dishes as opposed to.
[00:31:10] Speaker B: Oh, no, that's just too much. No. Yeah, they doing. They doing a lot.
[00:31:13] Speaker C: They're doing.
[00:31:13] Speaker B: They doing a lot of piping in the back. I don't want that. Like, I don't know. Don't want it. No, thank you. I like my bacon to stay fun.
[00:31:24] Speaker C: You just. Yes. You just sounded like one of the French muppets. The chef is Swedish.
[00:31:28] Speaker B: He's like, let's cook something yummy together. We're not baking. I'm not doing that. So that would be really fun.
[00:31:34] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:31:35] Speaker B: Experience that.
[00:31:36] Speaker C: I love that. I love that for you. Well, when you come over, you can just go on to Paris and get on over there cooking. So no, Italy. What am I saying?
[00:31:46] Speaker B: Pasta making. I could get behind it, be amazing there, make a little sauce. Okay. Anyway, all right. I have a quote from American author, teacher and creative thinking advocate, Julia Cameron. The creative process is a process of surrender, not control.
[00:32:06] Speaker C: Amen, sister.
[00:32:08] Speaker B: Listen.
[00:32:08] Speaker C: Surrender.
[00:32:10] Speaker B: The creative process is a process of surrender, not control.
The creative process.
Life is a process of surrender, not control.
Life is a creative process.
[00:32:25] Speaker C: Life is a creative process.
You are the creator of your life. Open hands, surrender it.
[00:32:31] Speaker B: Open mind. Be open to the possibilities. Like surrender, not control. You can't control it anyway. Control is an illusion. So sooner you get on board with that reality. End of this episode. So explore. Until next time, give yourself permission to imagine, wonder and follow what brings you joy even before you know where it might lead.
[00:32:54] Speaker C: Explorers, we love you so much and we wish for you for joy to be your lighthouse as you move towards the next thing that brings you the most joy. We love you so much. Take good care.
